Use the Crypto module to check indicative USD prices or create a cryptocurrency swap through FixedFloat. Your server's command permissions control where members can use it.
Check a price
Run /crypto price currency:bitcoin, or use ;cprice btc with your server's prefix. The slash command has a fixed currency menu; prefix commands accept currency names and tickers.
Prices come from a shared Blockchair snapshot refreshed every two minutes. Each result shows when the snapshot was sampled, rather than the time of an individual trade. A delayed snapshot is labelled; unavailable or outdated prices are not presented as current. The currency menu lists supported Blockchair currencies, which may differ from those supported for swaps. A listed currency can be temporarily unavailable. A swap's actual quote can differ from the displayed market price.
Create a swap
- Run
/crypto swap-new from-network:BTC from-token:BTC to-network:ETH to-token:ETH, or;cswap BTC BTC ETH ETH. - Choose Enter Swap Details. Enter the amount to send and your receiving wallet address. Add its memo or destination tag if your wallet requires one.
- Choose
floatorfixedfor the rate. Leaving it empty selectsfloat. - Review the public amount and networks. Use Private Details to check your receiving address and memo privately. Select Agree & Create Order within two minutes, or Cancel to discard it.
- Open Private Details and use the private payment instructions to send the exact asset and amount to FixedFloat before the order expires. Include the required deposit memo or tag.
Choose each network before its token. Network fields keep autocomplete so you can search all supported networks. Token autocomplete only shows assets available on the selected network. For native coins, select BTC on BTC or ETH on ETH. To swap USDT across networks, choose USDT on each selected network. If you change a network, select its token again.
Prefix commands take the same four values: ;cswap [from-network] [from-token] [to-network] [to-token]. For example, ;cswap BTC BTC ETH USDT exchanges BTC for USDT on Ethereum. All four arguments are required, including the token for native coins.
The receive amount includes provider and network fees. Fixed-rate amounts are set when the order is created; floating-rate amounts can change when the deposit arrives. Discortics may earn a commission, and any configured affiliate fee is disclosed in the quote.
The exchange service is provided by FixedFloat. Creating an order confirms your agreement with the rules of FixedFloat. Read FixedFloat's rules before confirming.
Discortics does not send funds from your wallet or ask for its seed phrase or private key. Quotes and order status appear publicly. Only the owner can use their controls. Deposit instructions, receiving addresses, memo tags, transaction details and the FixedFloat order link appear only through Private Details. Keep your order link private.
Track a swap
Run /crypto swap-status swapid:ABC123 or ;cswap-status ABC123, replacing the example ID with your order ID. Prefix status commands provide an owner-only button that opens the public status. Only the Discord account that created the order can retrieve it through Discortics.
Use Refresh Status to check progress. Select Private Details, then Open FixedFloat to open the provider's order page for support and any emergency or refund decision. If the order expired or needs attention, do not send more funds.
If order creation times out, do not repeat the request or send funds. Contact support so the existing request can be checked first.
