Server Statistics

Read message, voice, join, leave, and leaderboard activity, compare periods, and safely reset stored statistics.

Discortics tracks messages, voice time, member joins and leaves, levels, economy balances, and invite counts. The Dashboard gives staff a server-wide view, while Discord commands show individual activity and community rankings.

Activity is collected continuously and normally reaches the Dashboard and leaderboards within about 20 seconds.

View statistics

Review server activity in the DashboardStart on Home for a summary, then open Statistics or Leaderboards for detail.
  1. Open your server in the Dashboard.
  2. On Home, review Total members, then joins, leaves, and messages from the last 30 days.
  3. Read the percentage beneath joins and messages to compare the last 30 days with the previous 30 days.
  4. Use Total engagement to compare daily messages and voice time across the same 30-day window.
  5. Open Statistics for all-time totals, 7/14/30-day history, and period-filtered message and voice rankings.
  6. Open Leaderboards when you need the full cached top 100 for one ranking.

View activity in DiscordUse member commands for individual periods and the leaderboard menu for server rankings.
  1. Run /info messages for your own message and voice activity, or /info messages user:@member for another member.
  2. Read the message and voice values for Today, This week, and This month together with their changes versus the previous period.
  3. Run /user target:@member for a compact profile with message and voice periods, totals, and last-seen times. The profile does not include percentage comparisons.
  4. Run /info members for server joins and leaves with daily, weekly, and monthly comparisons.
  5. Run /info leaderboards module:Voice Time to open a specific ranking immediately, or omit module and choose Message XP, Voice XP, Voice Time, Channel Messages, Economy, or Total Messages from the dropdown.

Dashboard statistics

Home

The four Home counters appear in this order:

  1. Total members: the server's current member count.
  2. Joins · last 30 days: tracked human joins, with change versus the previous 30 days.
  3. Leaves · last 30 days: tracked human departures.
  4. Messages · last 30 days: recorded human messages, with change versus the previous 30 days.

The Total engagement chart places message counts beside voice duration. Voice uses a separate scale because it is measured as time rather than events.

Statistics

The Statistics page provides:

  • All-time totals for messages, voice time, joins, and leaves.
  • UTC daily charts for the last 7, 14, or 30 days.
  • Top Users by messages for Today, Week, Month, or Total.
  • Top Channels by recorded messages.
  • Top Voice Users for Today, Week, Month, or Total.

Channel rankings resolve normal channels and threads separately. A deleted or inaccessible channel is shown as unavailable with its Discord ID instead of being silently renamed.

Leaderboards

The Leaderboards page contains the server's top 100 cached entries for:

  • Message XP
  • Voice XP
  • Total voice time
  • Channel messages
  • Economy net worth
  • Total member messages

Results are shown 25 at a time. Use Previous and Next to move through the ranking.

Use the optional module parameter to open any of these rankings directly. The same six static choices remain available in the response dropdown.

Period comparisons

Comparisons in /info messages and /info members use UTC boundaries. A day begins at 00:00 UTC, a week begins on Monday, and a month begins on its first day.

The current period may still be in progress. For example, activity early on Monday is compared with the complete previous week. New vs means the previous period was zero while the current period is above zero.

Dashboard Home uses rolling 30-day windows instead: the visible joins and messages are compared with the preceding 30 days.

What gets counted

  • Messages: new, non-system messages from human users. Editing a message does not add another message or award message XP again.
  • Joins and leaves: human members only. Bot additions and removals are excluded. A human join is still counted when Anti-Raid or another automated safety action handles that member.
  • Voice time: time a human member remains connected to voice. Daily, weekly, monthly, and total values are retained.
  • Spoke for: connected time while the member was not muted or deafened. It is an eligibility timer, not audio or microphone-content detection.
  • Levels: Message XP and Voice XP are separate from raw message and voice-time statistics.

Reset statistics

Use /settings reset type:<type> to clear one statistics category for the whole server.

Available reset types are:

  • messages: clears stored server, channel, and member message counts. It does not clear Message XP.
  • voice: clears tracked voice time while preserving Voice XP. Members already connected continue tracking from the reset point.
  • level: clears member XP and levels.
  • economy: clears server economy balances, inventories, and marriages.
  • invites: clears tracked inviter and invitee statistics, including invite reward progress.
Reset one statistics categoryThis cannot be undone. Read the confirmation before continuing.
  1. Run /settings reset type:messages, replacing messages with the category you want to clear.
  2. Check that the confirmation names the correct category.
  3. Select Confirm only when you are ready to permanently remove that data.
  4. Run the related leaderboard or member command to confirm the reset.

Warning: A statistics reset is destructive. Discortics cannot restore the cleared data.

For a more focused invite reset, open /settings invites. Its reset menu can clear selected inviters without resetting every statistics category.

Frequently asked questions

Can I reset only one member?

The server statistics reset clears the selected category for the whole server. Levels also provide /xp reset user:@member type:Both when you only need to reset one member's level progress.

Why are invite totals different after a reset?

Invite tracking rebuilds its baseline from Discord's current invite uses. Read Invite Tracking before resetting invite data.

Does resetting messages delete Discord messages?

No. It clears Discortics' stored message counts; it does not delete messages from Discord channels.

Does resetting voice disconnect members or reset Voice XP?

No. Active members stay connected and begin accumulating new voice time from the reset point. Voice XP is a separate level statistic and is preserved.

Why does a percentage look unusually high or low?

/info messages and /info members compare the current UTC calendar period with the immediately previous period. A partly completed day, week, or month can therefore differ sharply from the complete period before it. /user shows the current values without percentages. Dashboard Home instead compares two rolling 30-day windows.
