Fun Module

Add lightweight games, prompts, memes, jokes, and AFK status to everyday server conversation.

A practical walkthrough

4 min read · Updated Jul 31, 2026

The Fun module gives members casual ways to interact with Discortics. It includes prompts and entertainment commands such as /fun 8ball, /fun afk, /fun gifs, /fun joke, /fun meme, and /fun topic.

Use It Well

There is no separate setup flow. Start by deciding where casual bot activity belongs, then let members use the commands there. A dedicated #bot-commands or #off-topic channel keeps game output away from support, announcements, and moderation work.

Set Channel Boundaries

Open /settings command target:fun to manage the complete module, or target a specific command when only one needs a restriction. You can set a server default and then allow or deny individual users, roles, channels, or categories.

This is especially useful for AFK notices: allow them in community channels, but keep them out of high-volume logs or staff-only queues.
