A ticket panel is the public message members use to open a ticket. One panel can show several options, such as General Support, Billing, and Report a User.
Create your first panel from the Tickets overview before changing the settings below.

Panel settings
Status
An enabled panel can be sent and used by members. Disabling it keeps the configuration but stops its options from creating new tickets.
Disabling a panel does not close existing ticket channels.
Channel
Choose the public text channel where Discortics should post the panel. Changing the channel affects the next deployment and does not move the old message.
Display mode
- Buttons shows each enabled option as a button. Discord places up to five buttons on a row.
- Select Menu shows every enabled option in one dropdown.
Use buttons for a small number of short labels. Use a select menu when options need descriptions or the panel contains many choices.
Message builder
The Dashboard includes a Components V2 message builder inside every ticket panel. Add text, sections, images, and interactive actions, then connect each ticket action to the option it should open.
Build the ticket panel messageThe preview updates while you edit the message.
- Open Dashboard → Tickets and select the panel.
- Add the message blocks members should see.
- Add a ticket button or select action.
- Connect each action to a saved ticket option.
- Choose which users, roles, or everyone the message may mention.
- Fix any limit or missing-target warnings before saving.

The Ticket panel message builder with an option action
The Dashboard builder supports up to 40 Discord components and 4,000 displayed text characters.
When editing through /ticket settings, select one of the server's saved embeds or create the default Open a Ticket message. Discortics stores a copy with the panel. If that saved embed is later deleted, the panel keeps its last saved copy.
Options
Each option creates a different ticket type. Only enabled options appear on the public panel. A panel needs at least one enabled option before it can be sent, and its final option cannot be deleted.
Read Ticket Options for staff roles, categories, messages, and member access.
Send or update the panel
First deployment
Choose the panel channel, display mode, message, and at least one enabled option. Then select Send.

Update a deployed panel
Save your changes, then select Edit deployed message on the Dashboard or Edit in the Discord panel. This updates the existing public message instead of posting another one.
Use Refresh status on the Dashboard when the deployment state looks outdated.
Troubleshooting
An option no longer works
The panel message may be older than its saved configuration. Enable the panel and option, then update the deployed message.
The panel message was deleted
Open the saved panel and send it again. Existing ticket channels are not affected.
The changed panel does not appear in Discord
Save the panel, then select Edit deployed message on the Dashboard or Edit in /ticket settings. Saving the configuration alone does not update the message already posted in Discord.
