Members complete applications in their DMs with Discortics. Staff receive the answers in a private log channel and can process them from Discord or, on Prime and Custom bots, the Dashboard.
Apply to a form
- Enable DMs from server members.
- Run
/application applyin an allowed channel. - Select an open form.
- Open the DM from Discortics and select Agree.
- Answer each question. Optional questions include a Skip button.
- Wait for the submission confirmation.
You have 10 minutes for each step. Each answer refreshes the timer for the next question. An expired application must be restarted with /application apply.

Why an application may not start
- The form is closed or has no questions.
- The member's DMs are disabled.
- The form’s Apply mode blocks another submission: a previous submission in once-only mode, or a pending response in after-review mode.
- A required role or allowed channel does not match.
- A blocked role or channel does match.
- Discortics cannot access the configured log channel.
Members cannot edit an answer after sending it. Application panel buttons can be used in a read-only channel; the form's role and channel restrictions still apply.
On Public, the bot needs View Channel, Send Messages, and Embed Links in the log channel throughout submission. Confirmation follows successful log delivery. If access is lost, the applicant is told the submission failed and should contact staff.
View responses
Public bot
Completed responses are posted in the form's private log channel. Each log remains separately reviewable through its Accept/Deny buttons, even when Apply mode permits another submission. Reviewing one submission does not decide the others. The public bot retains only submission and review metadata, not saved answers. Answers remain in the Discord log. It does not provide Dashboard response browsing or /application review. Answers are held temporarily while applying or retrying log delivery, then cleared. Upgrading does not restore earlier Public answers.
Prime and Custom bots
Responses are available in three places:
- The private log channel, when one is configured.
/application review user:@memberin Discord.- Dashboard → Applications, select the form, and open the Responses tab.
The /application review controls expire after 10 minutes of inactivity. Run the command again when the buttons stop responding.
Export responses
On Prime and Custom bots, server administrators can download all retained responses for a form as CSV or JSON. Use Dashboard → Applications, open a form's Responses tab, then select CSV or JSON. In /application settings, open the form Config panel, select Export beside Send, then choose the format in the modal. Discord exports are sent privately and must stay within Discord's 8 MiB file limit.
CSV is intended for spreadsheets and places response metadata before the question columns. JSON preserves each saved question snapshot and answer. Exports contain the responses Discortics currently retains: replaced responses, unfinished deliveries and Public submissions without saved answers are not included. Application Manager roles alone do not grant Dashboard or form-configuration access.
Accept or deny a response
Review from the DashboardAvailable on Prime and Custom bots.
- Open Dashboard → Applications, select the form, and open the Responses tab.
- Select an applicant row from the responses table.
- Read the applicant's submitted answers in the slide-out drawer.
- Select Accept or Deny.
- Add an optional reason and confirm.

Discortics applies the configured role actions and records the decision and reviewer. It also attempts to DM the applicant; closed DMs can prevent notification without undoing the decision. If a role action only partly succeeds, restore the missing permissions or role and retry the same decision.
Process every pending response
Omit user: to process every pending response for a form. Choose the form with autocomplete or the picker:

Only one bulk application action can run in a server at a time. Wait for it to finish before processing another response. The Dashboard shows completed and failed counts and resumes progress tracking after a reload. A failed action is not a successful decision; resolve the reported problem before retrying.
Delete responses
Run /application delete to clear all pending, accepted, and denied responses for one form. Add user:@member to remove only that member's history for the selected form.
Prime and Custom bots can also delete a member's responses or all responses for a form from the Dashboard.
Warning: Deleted responses cannot be restored. Save anything your staff needs before confirming.
Reapplication follows the form’s Apply mode: once ever, after acceptance/denial, or anytime. Prime and Custom keep the latest completed response for each member/form; older log buttons report that the member reapplied and never act on the replacement. Public keeps each logged response independently reviewable. Deleting responses does not reset once-only eligibility. When several Public submissions are pending, a direct user/form decision command targets the newest one; use the specific log to decide an older submission.

Application Manager access
A form can assign up to two Application Manager roles. Either role grants response management for that form through Discord without Manage Server or a command allowlist. Managers can accept, deny and delete responses, including bulk actions. Free managers use Discord logs; saved-answer viewing still requires premium. Explicit command/module disable switches remain in effect. Form editing and dashboard access keep their existing administrative requirements.
